Hospiscare Day 2024

Each year, we open our house, garden and tearoom for Hospiscare in a bid to help this brilliant local charity raise much needed funds for its essential work in Devon.

Over the last few year, these afternoons have attracted enormous support, so please mark in your diary to come to Fursdon on Wednesday 31 July, 2-5pm!

Hospiscare has been helping people in Devon with life-limiting illnesses for almost 40 years, providing support at home, a specialist palliative day ward, day hospices and end-of-life care to terminally ill patients in the Exeter, Mid and East Devon areas.

To support over 2,000 people each year in some of the hardest times, Hospiscare needs to raise around £8 million a year, and relies on the generous support of local people and communities.

A visit to Fursdon is a brilliant way for visitors to lend their support to this charity while enjoying peaceful hillside gardens, a traditional Devon cream tea and/or a guided tour of this historic manor house.

We look forward to welcoming you. Please note that we do not accept Season Tickets on charity open days. Dogs on leads welcome too!
