Closed until further notice

In these strange and worrying times, we had hoped very much to keep the Fursdon gardens open (while closing the house and tea-room), and to do this for free, at a time when we feel people would benefit most from them.
In recent days, as concerns over social distancing have grown, we have watched as The National Trust and many other gardens around the country have taken the decision to close, and been forced to re-evaluate.
The decision has now sadly been taken to close Fursdon fully to the public until such time that it is legitimately safe to re-open.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely, and hope very much to open in some capacity later in the year.
In the meantime, we will continue to showcase the hard work of gardener Katie Vanstone and the brilliant Fursdon team on Facebook and Instagram.
