We are very much looking forward to this year’s Cadbury Fun Run & Walk, so please save the date for 3rd May 2025!
This popular event raises funds for Cadbury Church and local school Thorverton Primary.
It takes place at Fursdon and is a great day out for families, friends and individuals alike – dogs (on leads) love it too!
The route is approximately four miles, going through woods and fields, up and down hills and crossing some of Mid-Devon’s most beautiful landscape. If the weather permits, you will enjoy extensive views to Exmoor and Dartmoor in the distance and to the Sidmouth Gap on the south coast. The terrain is hilly and uneven and if it has been wet, could be a bit muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear.
Drinks are available on route and Cadbury’s famous tea is laid out for everyone in the Fursdon Coach Hall for after.
Prizes will be given to the first three finishers, with the Cadbury Cup going to the first Cadbury Resident to cross the finish line. There will be an additional prize this year for Best Dressed…
ON THE DAY
Registration opens at 1.15pm at the Coach Hall, with the event starting at 2pm. The entry fee is £5 for over 16s, £3 for children (pre-school children free) and £2 per dog! Donations towards tea are greatly appreciated. Please bring cash.

In order to give us an idea of numbers, please register your interest for this event by emailing [email protected] and letting us know how many you will be bringing. Please car share where possible to reduce parking pressure.
