The Fursdon Estate's trees are at their best at the height of the summer. What better way to see them than to walk amongst them through the colourful gardens and see the oldest ones across the parkland during an afternoon visit on Sunday 5 August. The Meadow garden walk is particularly attractive, with natural planting and a pond, to explore. This has become an annual event so do come to Fursdon, near Exeter and see what's on. We will be working with the Woodland Trust and some of their staff will be on hand to give out information and talk about what they're up to in the area. Bring along the family and get up close with nature in this lovely rural environment.
Historic Fursdon House will also be open for visits with guided tours at 2.30 and 3.30pm and the gardens and tea room will be open from 2 - 5pm so stay on for Cream Trees!
