They also have a delightful garden with a national collection of Azaleas. It is open to the public on Sunday afternoons.
Just 9 miles to the south of Fursdon lies the Cathedral City of Exeter. Confident and bustling there are many things to see. It is the regional capital of the south west and has a great history. The magnificent Cathedral and Close are a must and the Underground passages are well worth a visit. If you leave the main areas you will still find cobbled streets and an ancient quay. Shopping is a very pleasant experience since the new Princesshay shopping centre opened in 2007.
