Fursdon House is now closed for the season. It will re-open on Easter Sunday 12th April 2009.
Fursdon will be celebrating 750 years as a family home in 2009. Look out for special events.
Normal opening will be on Bank Holiday weekends (Sunday and Monday) and Sundays and Wednesdays in June, July and August.
The garden is open from 2pm to 5pm with house tours at 2.30pm and 3.30pm. The garden is lovely so why not find a bench and stay awhile to take in the wonderful views all around you or take a stroll through the parkland. There are also stunning views from the top of Cadbury Castle hill, which is easily accessible from Fursdon.
Delicious home baked scones, cakes and biscuits are served in the Coach Hall with lovely fresh cups of tea and coffee and a roaring fire on chilly days.
