Heating and Electricity
Oil fired central heating normally runs from September to May depending on what global warming is doing. The cost of electricity, gas and hot water is included in the tariff.
Laundry
The laundry room is in the courtyard with a washing machine and coin operated tumble drier. There is a washing line in the garden if you prefer.
Grounds and Garden
You have access to most of the grounds and gardens. With the help of an estate map you can walk further afield. Near the children's swings are picnic tables and space for ball games. The informal grass tennis court is available when not in use for other activities and is dependent on weather conditions.
Pets
Please note that dogs or other pets are not allowed at Fursdon. We have animals and livestock of our own and want to avoid any possible conflict!
Car Parking and Transport
You can bring your car down to the courtyard gate to load and unload. The car park is about 50 metres from the house. As public transport is limited a car is essential. The lanes around Fursdon offer a challenge for the energetic cyclist.
